Ride To Wild Woman

Beautiful day after a few days of rain. Washes are firm, day to myself decided to take a day ride.

This is the destination, Wild Woman ranch north of Gila Bend.

After the ranch I take the road towards home via Wild Woman Wash which is located straight ahead.

Test

On my way out I came across this "test hill" Seems everywhere I've lived there has been some kind of test hill. Where locals can test there equipment to their hearts content. Horsepower and traction going up and brakes and pucker power going down.

This particular road goes to the top and then you have to turn around and come back down.

@HardWorkingDog. I didn't go up the hill this time. but have been up it before. Sometimes I've made it, sometimes I've gotten part way and once dumped it.

Looked like a fun ride. Been a long time since I've ridden in a river/creek wash. Your photo's are inspiring me to do so again. Would make a fun winter ride, since I've gotton better at riding in the sand. And I love the windmills. Reminds me of the days gone by, even though some are still in use. Thanks for sharing.
