been a golf nut for a long, long time. got down to a 3 handicap once. held it there for a few years. it does get in the way of a good ride sometimes. I'm playing in the 2nd tourney of the year tomorrow morning. finished 1st, the 1st time out a couple of weeks back. nice start on the year.

hopefully, I'll be able to get a good round in and keep it going. this time I'm on my own. last time was a two person team.

the swing felt good yesterday on the range. screw trying to get it more upright

I'm going back to my big controlled draw.

and waxie is right. most of the golfers out there are on muni courses; just a bunch of regular joe's chasing a ball around.

we're on a semi-private course here. we're headed down the private path. our biggest bitch is the corporate outings that attract the once a year golfers.

I agree about the dead feel. They were a mistake. Yeah they're more forgiving but suck for finesse stuff and let you get lazy on ball striking.

The best irons I've ever had were Haig Ultra's with the drill through hosel. Forged blades are d' bomb.
