Dan Sikes Norris machine in Houston made mine (713) 644-1428. I paid $65?
One off isn't as cheap as a full run. I originally made my own bracket. The bracket was too thin. It flexed a bit.It was ugly also. I had a 4 Piston Brembo before the 6 piston Tokico. The specs are a little better for the Tokico but it justs a whole lot better stopping and feel wise. Les

I found the Vesrah VD 349 JL pads worked better than the EBC s.
Cheaper and thicker too. Just like me. If you have trouble bleeding the brakes try wedging all the pistons/ pads right back in before you start - it worked for me.

New adapters update
OK here is the deal. I found my old friend and he is, not only alive, but good to make up a batch of maybe 9 or 10 adapters. They won't be black anodized like HPM's but other than that they should be pretty much the same.
He also mentioned that he can order the hex bolts to go with them. Price wise I think it should still be in the $30 range with out bolts. He also needs to order the 6061 stock so it will be a about a week for the set up. I'm Keeping 2 (a spare seems like a good idea to me) 1 for herb28, that leaves about 6 more if you want one. If you are interested let me know and I'll add you to the waiting list. |

I wonder if this thread has affected the demand and thus the market value of the appropriate used calipers on ebay?
The nerd inside me enjoys thinking about these sorts of small scale real world examples of more complex theories... p.s. way to go sponge helping everyone out!

since we haven't heard from sponge, i contacted a local machine shop with the diagram and got a quote. if i bought 30 of them they would be 25 not including bolts or shipping. i'd have to add a few bucks to cover my pain and suffering.
somehow i doubt 30 people would be interested. i'll wait and see if there's an onslaught of PMs. |
