Already have someone in line... your second if he decides this one ain't for him....I'm planning on selling the caliper, ss brake line and two sets of pads as a package, and am going to try and turn out another adapter so this will be a plug-and-play" kit.

Let me know if you would like an extra set of hands when you install it. I'd love to learn more.

Sure. Actually, it'll take some machine work to make the adapter. The rest should be pretty easy. I'll also be installing the cartridge emulators pretty soon as well.

I'm generally working through the weekends - but have every other Sunday free. Trying to plan around such a weird schedule is tough, but otherwise, you're welcome to come hang out and talk beemer. Send me a PM.

with just two X'es, looks like you're suggesting solo's price to be below $100 for the full kit!

Well, he is the king of finding things cheaply and he IS the inspiration for the "dark secrets" thread.

hell, he's probably already outsourced somebody to make advrider entries for him. It's not even the real guy any more.

I think I got a pair for $30. Let me check...Nope. Sorry - I'll correct myself. It was $26 for the set of six piston jobbies. Figure I'll mount the left one on another bike.

Does that make me the new 'cheap bastard'?

Once you guys get it figured out, I'd love to know once and for all which of the calipers you have to use. From just looking at pictures, it seems you have to use the left side caliper and just turn it around to go on the right side of the GS.

Sorry if this has already been covered.

Dude, get with the program and read the first few posts...

Yes, you would want the left-side caliper as they are mounted behind the fork legs on most modern bikes and in-front on our antiques....

The one that I have coming is from a 1999 Kawasaki ZX9
