Question: how often does the chain come off and destroy the engine case, anyway?

Less often than a rock jumping up and cracking a headlight. But at over $600, I have a headlight protector also. And I have seen both....

Besides, This just might be the most beautiful piece of aftermarket bling to go on my bike!

I had some stainless steel wheel spacers for my old dirtbikes. nice to have if you ride in the dirt a lot.

The bash plate has good coverage.

What would be the torque value when installing the ss bolts in the engine case?
I am guess 6NM, based on the touratech case guard instructions. In other words, not too much past hand tight!
