World speedway championship 2013

Congratulations go out to Aussie star, Chris Holder for winning the 2012 Speedway Grand Prix series.

2nd place to 3 time world champ Nicki Pedersen

3rd place to American, Greg Hancock, the oldest rider in the series, and 2011 champion

This is the last year 3 time world champ Jason Crump will compete at the world individual championship level as he has announced his retirement from the GP series. Crump has been in the top 3 for a record 10 seasons in a row.

Awesome Finale to a great season. Talk about drama!! Great to see genuine sportsmanship win over in the end.
TOP bunch of people.

I really think Holder should have been excluded from semi final heat. Usually Nicky is the one to blame, but this time he was definitely taken out by Chris. It was a hard decision for a referee to make, and it literally decided the World Championship.

i couldnt find video of the heat when i was looking for it, but yes, it literally decided the championship. i think greg was a bit too far behind to reach the top, but it could have gone nicky's way.
