That bike was worth the asking price all day long.

I'd rather have the one you just bought and the difference to spend on gas, food and occasional lodging.

But it and sell the teal one at a profit (or at least enough to pay for your trips to UT and VA).

Fish:

Great idea. I have spoken to the seller of the red PD twice today on the phone at length and we even have some mutual friends. Need to find a local (DC Area) friend to check the bike out in person. I have no doubts that I have found my separated-at-birth twin when it comes to bikes. Seller says he would only recommend a spline lube, change the fluids, and ride it.

A deal is pending.

Bob:

Whoa. I never said the Teal 93 was going away. It's staying right here and will go through the refresh. The real goal is for my wife to start riding again (she has owned/ridden bikes as big as a 1998 R1100R) next summer. She actually likes the Teal (flash) green.

If I get the 95 Red I am going to mount it on the mantle over the fireplace.

Indeed it was ... Even in spite of the color. In a weird way those teal PD's have grown on me a bit ... but I still don't think I have balls big enough to own one.

Please send pictures of your balls. Then I'll look mine over and compare. My guess is mine are smaller and I'm still okay with it. The color does grow on you...

Is it "flash" green or gangrene?

I can't do that. I'm thinking of running for Superior Court Judge, or Trashman (whichever pays more), and I don't want to have a 'Weiner' moment.

How about this?
