This is my first attempt and i am going solo .
I have just finished prepping the Kato and hopefully nothing has been forgotten.

If all else fails I will pull another KLX out of the stable. Juniors bike needs a head gasket and I will pull all the new parts off my bike and transfer it all over, no electric start though. Good bottom end that doesn't make metal.

I was out there in November '11, and Emus were like flies - went out toward Renmark, Burra etc last week and reckoned I didnt see as many...??

Oh well, the green machine is back together. standard cams are back in, engine flushed out and Valvaline XLD premium put in it. after getting that shit Motul 7100 out. Ultra heavy duty clutch springs fitted so it wont slip with the slippery oil. She is going well. I put Juniors wheels on tonight and will take it for a run to Tamworth tomorrow and put 500klms under its belt and cut a filter when I get home, Starting to think it is abusive shifts that may have made the metal. Cross your fingers. I checked the engine oil pressure and spec is 12 psi at 4000 RPM and thats what I've got.

Just got back from a ride, put 600 klms on the green beast from the Hunter Valley to Uralla and back. I will cut the filter and get back to you guys, cross your fingers.
