I had more fun going though my old '00 KLR when I bought it back last March. Hate to say but it only has about 26,600 miles on it. The guy I sold it to only put about 2500 miles on it in the 3 years he had it..

But, I really plan on using it more this year.
I had a little 4 cup coffee pot 12/115V that I carried for years till it finally broke on me. Was great for heating up all kinds of stuff , LOL, even making coffee.

Thanks again
This RR is the first place I go when I sign on since you started it.

That's better mileage than I get with Kenda 270's. What kind of pressure do you run?

They have a little bit left, but not much! I had considered running Mefo Explorers on this trip, but settled on the Kendas, which I think was the best choice for the off road sections I ran.
Thank you for shearing ...Donnie
Say., Did you notice any diference between Baja California Norte and baja California Sur ? Two diferent states

And, as always, if I don't know the answers, I will make up something really good!

Next planned trip is late February or early March. I will be headed toward Panama and will travel six to eight weeks. If I don't make it all the way to Panama, I will next time!
Looking forward to the next report! Will you be taking the KLR again?

Sorry Bato, I just saw your question! It all looked the same to me, beautiful! On the east side of Baja, there seemed to be less dirt roads, but there was a lot on the west side. The temps were cooler as I headed back north, but part of that was a cold front. It was definitely colder in Mexicali on the return trip than it was going down. Southern Baja was five or six degrees warmer in the morning.
