There was a sand track paralleling the wash board road for many miles out here. I often followed the sand track as it was much smoother.

Very beautiful and many miles from anyone.



A lot of this was bone jarring and I kept speed in the 30 mph range. Besides I was enjoying the scenery, not running a race.

Met these nice folks. They offered me fuel and water. I replenished my water bottles. He said he had ridden this route before on a bicycle!

This ain't near as difficult as you might think. I never aired the Kenda 270s down the entire trip.



Of course, you do need to stay in your lane!

Then I saw a sign pointing to some type Ruins, so I followed it.

It was even paved............in the beginning.

And the elevation went up quite a bit and it cooled down. Actually it got cold, because it was already cool!

Digging the report! I like how you are off road a lot. I will be doing Baja for two weeks in Jan and then Feb mainland Mex to CA. Maybe we will cross paths? I would love to ride some dirt with you. I am solo so probably won't do too much dirt with out a wingman. Keep the photos coming!!!
