The Minister for Finance & Domestic Harmony and I are now the proud custodians of a pair of plastic Meerkats nearly lifesize (and nearly life-like if one believes the packaging) to be placed tastefully in the garden.... I say custodians as I don't think anyone can ever really own wild animals like these

In saying that, I can't complain, my misses got me a neat little 120cc grease gun complete with 2 cartridges, a rubber extension hose and needle injector, perfect size for greasing swing arm linkages, steering heads and wheel bearings.

One of my cousins in Scotland owns 2 Meerkats (real ones), a Skunk and assorted other beasties. They are a part of his business in animal education "Cool Creatures". When I was visiting we helped making his Prairie Dogs hand tame.

I have to say, if my wife was walking towards me with a grease gun, two cartridges, a length of rubber hose and a needle injector, I'd be really really frightened.

Me mum gave me 3 tea towels and a miniture plastic harley in a display box. At least I can use the tea towels as polishing rags for the klr.

Might use the harley as a hood ornament on the hilux, or give to outbackjack on his next birthday.

My in laws gave me a dozen bottle of Coke once XMAS.

Weird eh?

For my wife's 50th they gave her a cake of soap and a washer.

Lucky she got the new car from me!
