received mine a few weeks ago. Saw it first on a flight to australia.

Great movie, great emotions.

Watched it with my girlfriend. She changed her mind from "baah, just motorcycle bulls***" through "well, its not too bad" to "WHAAAAT?? You can't press pause now!!!".

thumbs up!! :)

Got to watch my copy.

It's not only about Dakar or Dakar preparation, it's also a road movie and a good human story. Really Great!Thank you very much for putting this together.

I sat the entire family down last night to watch it, including my 15 year old son who whined "I don't want to watch a documentary". I didn't tell him what it was about and he laid on the floor looking at his arm. Soon enough he was propped up watching the whole thing. I think its put his sore back from running track in perspective. All of us really enjoyed it.

My wife's comment this morning was she wished it had been longer, maybe the whole 3 hours I told her you wanted or even two parts. She is a serious move aficionado so I consider that high praise.

Thanks and hopefully you and Simon will make some money off of it. And if its ever made, you already have one sale for the long version.

Thanks for the feedback.

Love the comment from D. Sanchez's girlfriend ""WHAAAAT?? You can't press pause now!!!"

DC950, thanks for your comment, it shows that you do not have to be a motorcycle rider to appreciate Dream Racer.

Once we pass the "there is no brad pitt in it" reaction, it should sell more easily, word of mouth is what I am hoping for but it will take a little more time than a BIG Hollywood Hit here it is. Please don't hesitate to refer Dream Racer to friends.

Thanks

BTW I got mine, thanks again Christophe. Great movie actually. I feel for your cameraman, though, it looked like he went through hell.

Hey Guys,

Before we head down the 3-hr version, there is likely the Audio sound track that will be released along with some shirts and/or t-shirts.

Any takers?

Also, any marketing gurus out there to offer insights on pushing DREAM RACER in the big wide world?

Thanks

CBVRacing. I just wanted to say thank you for the movie. I received it
last week and watched it the same night. Kept me on the edge of my
seat for sure. If a longer, more detailed version ever does make it
to print sign me up. I am sure there is a lot more to the whole story
than you could possibly put in film.
After watching your story I was reminded of a thread on ADV a few years
ago written by another Dakar racer, Tim Hall. His story, the story told
on ADV could be made into a feature length movie also.

I could very easily watch a 3 hour episode, as could 5 of my friends that I lent the movie to.

I would happily pay for a preorder now if necessary. Just keep us posted.

I just watched the preview, I know I'm late to the party....you showed the beginning the middle and the end of the movie.
Only riders would watch and say " oh, hell yes, I have to see that.
It looks fantastic, well done mate.
