Yummy good news
Can't wait to give them a look-see then place my order.

BTW - just viewed (with great envy) your Costa Rican ride report. As an impoverished jazz musician a trip like that will most likely always have to remain a fantasy but man what fun!

Costa Rica was great... wish I knew now what I didnt know then though... quite a bit more "dirt" experience now and that would have come in handy then.. hope to put better off road skills to test in Ecuador in early 2013

also.. MM15's are out today.. see next post

Well it looks like I may be the first. I don't mind being an early adopter so let's go! These are not mounted completely or aimed, just a mock up on a Terra Nova light bar and hooked up to a spare battery.

MM15 ALONE

MM15 AND 35W HID LOW-BEAM

MM15, 35W HID LOW BEAM AND 55W HALOGEN HIGH BEAM

Jazz62 - Thanks for the review. The harnesses are assembled by us, one at a time and are made specifically for this job. Electrical tape is used where it is not possible to use heat shrink and only in a few places to cover exposed wire, not at any critical union. You are correct however in that if a person does have some electrical knowledge, wiring up is fairly easy without the harness. We offer it to those who either want to save time or, like you, dont have the knowledge. There are many, many bikes out there all over the world running with our harnesses, so no worries there. Your harness do the job and MORE than hold up.

EDIT TO THE ABOVE ---- its been suggested that I more strongly "defend" our harness. I dont really feel the need but here it goes......

I can assure Jazz62 (and anyone else that may be concerned) that our harness(es) are a quality product. Hundreds of them are in use and not one as failed or given reason to be questioned in the past. Granted that one the pics doesnt look so good when taken out of context and without an understanding of what is actually seen. The pic showing where the harness is "T' d" towards lights and switch, when taken in context of the "whole story".. meaning the whole harness...it is common to use electrical tape at this location. The points shown in the photos where electrical tape is used is more than anything "over-kill" in design.

In a nutshell, its a very sturdy, proven, handmade product made of components (watertight connectors, watertight fuse holder, switch and waterproof boot, etc) that if bought at retail would cost more than the $33 we charge for the assembled harness.

We stand behind EVERYTHING we sell and our light kits are no different. For this reason I have pm'd Jazz62 and offered a refund if he is not happy with our product.

----END EDIT ---

The lights are bright, but you really shouldnt be too concerned them being "too bright". 2 of us have them on our bikes day and night with no ill effects (police, unhappy cagers). Not to say "you most definitely will not not run across either" .

I'd suggest running with them for a few days to gauge the reaction of oncoming traffic.d

Thanks again for the review... Keeping an eye out for more
-Brian

Good day ADV peoples...

We are in the midst of a move and as a result of not wanting to overdo it on stock, our stock status is low and depleted in a few cases.

On the LED Aux light front:

MM12's Lights and Light Kits - "sold out"

You can backorder the MM12's via the website ($84 a pair WOW ) we expect to begin shipping them again on or about June 15th.
*** If you are interested in the 12's I would suggest doing so to ensure you get a set from the next batch.

MM15 Light Kits - "sold out"

MM15 Lights - in stock but running low

Once the 15's are gone, no more will be available until late June

The MM12/MM15 Light Kits will be available again in early July

Thanks,
-Brian
