Looking through the thread a bit more and I notice you talk about a dimmer. Im really new to this LED thing, but a quick search on Amazon turned this up. http://www.amazon.com/Dimming-Contro...2038496&sr=8-1

Would this work, or would a simple rheostat in the +12v feeder to the lights work?

The one you posted works fine. A regular dimmer does not.

An LED light cannot be dimmed. You Need a Pulse Width Modulator (PWM) to dim an LED.

An LED is dimmed by controlling the pulse rate of the light (it gets turned on and off at X rate). The slower it pulse the dimmer it is and vice versa. You cannot see the pulsing w/ the naked eye, but simply looking through the LCD display of your point & shoot camera will show you the pulse of the LED.

These units do work. They would work well on a bike with some mods, i.e. the connectors arent the best.

Great thanks......this is assuming you don't have one available yet? I didn't see one on your site.

Sorry, we do not yet have one available. I've been riding with the MM12's for some time and havent found it to be an issue.
Since we havent really heard from anyone that found it to be a necessity, its not been a huge priority.
