Strange observation of the last two days 6/20-21. I have seen 4 vehicles stopped by state troopers on 40 and 85 in my going to and fro Raleigh. 3 of these have been bikes. Unusual, very unusual. Perhaps it is a special focus. Watchout.

Were they chops? Smokeout is going on this weekend in Rockingham. Lots of homebuilt chops riding in from across the country, and not all are aware of the helmet law. The Horse tried to put it out, but not everyone listened.

Yeah welcome home. Besides that. THANKS for leaving home to do what you do!

As for the bikes they were 2 sport and 1 naked. Rugby said he saw a few others stopped on 540 yet no cars stopped. Be careful. Spread the word.

Even with a streetname, I'm lost on this one.

The Lucky Strike sign on the side of the last tag said Made in America. My nephew said nothing was made in america anymore. So I took him to the home of lucky strike. Any angle will do.

Just to clarify, the tag is the Lucky Strike chimney, from any angle. Ride by the factory though, it is pretty awesome. I love old factories, and there is some neat architecture.

Put about 140 miles on the Ural with the nephew today. He got new gear from Cycle Gear, and was super excited to put it to use. He was smiling the whole ride.

Lucky Strike chimney, Reidsville, NC (pic taken from parking lot at Scales st and Carter st.)

I almost never go to Reidsville, so this took some google fu and a few minutes with street view to find:) There was another pic (found on flickr) that showed railroad tracks close by, so that's how I narrowed it down.
