Tag 176

This town clock is dedicated to the soldiers of World War One. It is located in a town with the following motto: "Bridging the past with the future!"

I placed this tag here hoping to "Rev" up a reformed tagger!

Ooopps!

I never really took the time to ride in the area of the current tag. Today I made a good little loop and discovered some new to me back roads up there.

Today's stops were Asheboro, Greensboro, Madison, Mayodan, Wentworth, Burlington, Liberty and Home.

Sounds like a good ride.
I ain't one for file tags unless it can't be helped. I took that picture almost two years ago and never used it.
Just got my new rear tire today. Mount and Balance tomorrow.

.. lol .. I have not forgotten anyone .. miss you guys .. still riding just not having (or making, rather) any time for riding beyond commuting and running and errand or five .. oh yeah, and a recent head injury that had me off two wheels for a week or so .. all better now ..

.. this, however, is just to close .. lol ..

.. on a further note .. Gem Dandy also has a shop in here where they still make belts in the good old U. S. of A. .. (the kind for your waist, not your car) ..

ah ha, so I think I'm still learning. So you can place an old file tag when it's your turn to tag? I didn't know that, I thought they all had to be new. But of course, the fun part is going to new tags. But atleast I know that now, you have to grab current, but when you're placing, it can be old, right?

You can use an old photo to place a tag but not to be used as a grab.
When we started this game we were tossed as if we should allow them, we did.
If out riding, see something cool, take photo and hold for another day to be used as a file tag.
Some games do not allow file tags.

TAG

I'm sure some of you have been by this home at some point in time. Col. Jack Martin's Rockhouse in Stokes County. It looks like some renovations may be in the near future, a lot of rocks on pallets have been brought in and surround the home.

If you're in the area, ride up route 66 to hwy 89. I think you will enjoy this road.
