One more

I believe the orginal cup owner that built this race shop sold the Statesville auto auction for some big bucks.
Then spent alot of the money on Nascar teams but then had to quit because of lack of sponsorship. Located right off of I-40 on your right headed east at the hwy 64 exit after you cross under I-77.
2668 peachtree road statesville nc is what the gps shows as address.
First time i have ever tagged so i hope l am doing it right.

I didn't read anything about the original poster having to approve. It looks like you were sitting in the exact same spot to me.

Out in this weather grabbing pics, I say tag on! You def have the location.

Don't have to wait in me. This shop was actually Larry Carters when he moved from Highway 421. Haas then bought in making Haas Carter motorsport. I think they may still own the shops.
The shop across the highway was built by Larry Hedrick who made his money through marriage, then started the Statesville Auto Auction, along with its body shop. He later sold it to Manheim (sp?). He started a race team housed in what is now the Satesville collision center, owned by Hedrick. It is a really good body shop. Hedrick racing was the Kodiak team. They still have a lot of the memorabilia on display.

Only time you would have to wait for approval is if your grab is questionable, then it is up to the tag placer to make the call. We will get that added to the front page ASAP.

Your grab is perfect, so tag on and welcome to the game!!

We had a great time, the Scouts raised just under 5000 cans to be donated to King Outreach Ministries. We told the Scouts if the goal was reached they were free to go home, not one did. They opted to stay inside the church last night, instead of going home. We still had 4 that slept outside in the rain, that meant a leader also, good times. We did not plan a menu or bring any food, all of our meals were supplied by the community, we where not to take from the donations, it had to specifically for the Scouts. 23 of them roughed it, 23 want to do it again.
