Turtlemoye, It's been fifteen minutes, your profile shows that you are looking at the NCNC tag game and you haven't responded. What are you doing looking for a tracking device?

Had to take my daughter to school. I've got the 350LM. As luck would have it the 390LM came out the week after I bought mine. I think the only difference is the "curvy roads" routing option. So far I'm pretty happy with it and it survived a pretty good impact when I failed to secure it to the mount properly and fell to the tarmac doing about 20-30 mph. I bought it with the intention of loading topo maps on to it but haven't done that yet.

When you can figure out how to load the topo maps let me know, I have the 390 and I haven't had any luck figuring out how to load them. Does the 350 have the tire pressure option too?

Negative, but I don't consider that a drawback. How's the curvy road feature. I think it would save me lots of time from having to plan my own routes.

If you don't have plans to somewhere by a specific time it is nice. I set it for curvy roads one time to go after a Roanoke tag and it took me twice as long to get to the tag as it did to get back home. It took me down some really good riding roads though.

If anyone moves this tag tomorrow they should earn extra points. Who's brave?

I got out on my smaller bike Wed night and Thur afternoon. Wed was fun as there were no cars on the road so the snow (5-6") was still fresh. By Thurs some of the streets were plowed and those that weren't had been chewed up really bad by the 4x4. I tried to get a friend to ride with me on Thur but he said it was impossible. I rode over to his place and took him 7 beers b/c he was out of booze but mostly to prove him wrong.

Looks like you and CheapB had the right stuff to move the tag.

While I was able to go out and about my max speed was only about 25mph so it would have taken me all day to move that thing. GoneToPlaid (Am.E's husband) has a bike that could handle the trip and he only lives about 5 mins from the tag. With temps coming in the mid 60's I'll get up that way if I have to.

Haha yeah would have taken me a while and not street legal. Although that didn't stop me from hitting the local streets a little.

I once had a coworker that rode his dirt bike to work. Eleven miles and part of that was on hwy 220 but most of it was on 311. I wouldn't do it but I'm sure there are a lot of people out there that don't even give it a second thought.

I've noticed that when the tag is in the southern part of the NCNC boundaries it sits for awhile. Last month it only moved 4 times. I know part of that was because of the weather but when it is in Rockingham, Stokes and Surry counties it moves a lot quicker. It must be because people just enjoy riding those roads more.

Also the population density around the VA/NC line for us is a bit lower so I bet its more out of the way for most participants. With how good the weather is supposed to be tomorrow I may make a try for this, but thats if I decide to be a shitty student and not ride to campus tomorrow.

FYI this is at the bottom of a gravel road. I assume you'll be ok but there is a good chance there could be snow in the shade so be careful.
