I should be able to get some great footage and pics for the after party, maybe even the same night if the hotel has internet.
Awesome. You're now allowed to wear the honorable moustache of the 2012 Dakar.

The two competitors, the American Quinn Cody with the bib No. 9 (Honda) and Portugal's Ruben Faria with the KTM No. 8 lost a lot of time in the special (remember they had been reported arrested for several minutes). Faria has lost more than 13 minutes on the front of the race, and Quinn has dropped nearly 20. Both have experience in identifying technical problems later ... To be continued ...

I wish.

Unfortunately the SE and I will be limping back to BsAs as it is so I'm taking it easy. If the bike was 100% I'd been out on the dunes with my friends last night.

I'll go back to the farm before I go to the biv so I'll grab it.

I'll try to get footage of the mayhem I'll have to ride through to get to to the biv.

Hummer Gordon should be coming through WP2 any time. Looks like 3 of the Minis iritracks have not registered at WP2.

That's his podium strategy... It has worked in the past.... He really is a rock-solid rider.
