Hi everybody,
as promised, here is something special for Adventure Rider F5 team from Jan Veselý :)
We printed this sheet, laminated it and our friend, who just arrived to Chile gave it to Jan yesterday (we expected there will be no printer) and sent me back the photo :)
Hope you will enjoy it.

Some breaking news from dakar com

Live feed stage 8

07:39 - bike

004 - Chaleco will not start today

What a disappointment for the Chilean rider in front of his home crowd! After suffering a fall during stage 7 last Saturday, Francisco López had already expressed doubts on whether he would be to continue the 2012 Dakar at the finishing line, blaming pain in his right knee... The Aprilia no. 4 rider did not go through the bivouac exit earlier this morning.

Just FYI - two shots from service work on Jan´s bike yesterday. You know that even when he is not in Marathon, he does not have mechanic and does all the work alone...
He was in fact working as mechanic for a rider Martin Macek, who was on Dakar in past several times. He is very skilled. BTW, Jan Vesely got the Fair Play prize during 6-days enduro event at Brasil as he and David Pabiska stopped and were giving first aid to a british rider Matt Bowden, who had heart attack and later died.. They had huge time delay and even when they were racing quite well, they helped other rider then continue in the race..

Shame, he didn't look in a good way in Eurosport's coverage last night, he was hobbling about the bivvy with a knee brace on.

Now let's just hope for the mother ship to come and take the aliens home so a portuguese can finally win the Dakar.
