Don't wanna rain on your parade (I'm cheering Stan on as well) but he's been losing time relatively since WP1 (when he was in 31st and right behind Chris Birch). He's still going well though.

Watt and Schwarz climbing the mountain between wp4 and 5.

Curtis, Birch, and Berglund between 5 and 6.

After CP3 refuelling Coma knows he is at least 13 minutes ahead of Despres on this stage. And he knows that he is provisionally leading the overall by at least 5 minutes. I guess...

And in other news, some cars and a few bikes (Including Schatt's father, I believe), raced to LacRose this week.

My bet is that Marc dials it in to "supercruise" now. As smooth and fast as possible, w/o taking that last little % of risk.

The real question being whether the CP officials share any timing information with the competitors? That's a question for the vets. Do they simply record and refuel or do they actively share the information for the stage so far?

That timing took about 13 minutes to update.

Yabbut with Despres even further back, a real push could mean a free engine change if need be and either staying ahead of or not losing too much time to Despres.
