I learned about the Cox and the smoking volvo and was gutted, but then I read about Jorge Boero...

Everything becomes trivial after a man pays the highest prize for the Dakar... My thoughts go to his family, RIP peace Jorge... Let's hope he's the last...

One needs to be tactful. You should have seen what I decided to edit before I posted.

See ya,

I've noticed over the years that Jonah seems to start off fairly mello and then ramps up towards the end, seems like a great strategy. Is it me or does he hang inside the top ten window at the beginning?

The time to attack will come...

A nice start to the race, with a short special which was quite technical due to the sand and the need to draw upon one's navigational skills. I rode strongly but carefully to make it here. Today is but the first day, the time to attack will come...

A bug bit me again!

The start of the special was awesome, with dunes on the seaside. Amazing! The special was beautiful, with technical sections, dunes and a fast finish. A good warm-up... But when I was crossing a river, next to a field, a bug bit me again, just under my cheek! I hope everything will be OK... You will see me deformed again... The first days of the Dakar are definitely not my lucky days!

Hi there all F5ers,

I hope I'm prepared for tomorrows stage, because tomorrow I won't be available to fix any glitches. Tomorrow I have to be at a funeral and it will take whole day. I won't be near a computer nor the results. I put all energy into the site and right now it looks fine, but if something breaks please don't panic. Tomorrow i'll be home late (evening CET) and I'll check my mail as soon as I can.

Because I've been so busy I didn't have time to say thanks to the people who already donated. I wanna say big thanks here and I will get in touch when I'm back. Thanks for all support, it's great to see the reactions and that reminds me why I'm doing this ;-)

So, enjoy the stage and see ya tomorrow evening!

Regards,
Mischa

Me too.

I think this year will be different, I suspect he will be attacking strongly tomorrow and on Stage 3.
