Embro

BY the way.. Paging James Embro insiders .. an update please!

Update..

Michael,

I have created a blog to follow James this year on the Dakar. This will include daily updates, photos, and other timely information from the team. You can subscribe yourself if you wish. The blog is located at: http://s97452794.onlinehome.us/ I think Versus will be covering the daily recaps beginning of Jan. 2.

This year's adventure will be with the MemoTours/Alfie Cox team, a Dutch organization for the purpose of mechanical support and logistical services. There are eight riders from around the globe along with four mechanics in the team. All riders will participate with factory KTM 450 Rally bikes. James' competitor number is 106. We appreciate your support.

...

Today
Update from Mar del Plata

December 29th, 2011 Just got off the phone with James. He said that his bike had been delivered and all the electronics set up and ready for administrative checks. His team members bikes are still on the boat outside the port in Buenos Aires. Looks like they will be on a tight schedule to get the bikes off and through scrutineering on time. Should get some pictures of the bike tomorrow, so stay tuned for further updates.

In!
on the correct side of the starting line (as per the penalties listed earlier)
Feeling that this year is going to be good with the big teams (in the cars) not running, others are going to get a shot.

As for the bikes, Hard Men go HARD!

Amazing to see our US riders all getting through tech in the nick of time!
What a tense time for them, and for Team F5!

Go Jonah, Ned, Bill, Quinn, James, Mike!

Since I'm a Husaberg fan too this year, there's a few of them to keep track of, and great looking bikes too!

#29 BERGLUND Thomas (SWE) HUSABERG FE 450
#62 SCHWARZ David (AUS) HUSABERG FE450
#107 BODINGER Ronnie (SWE) HUSABERG FE 450
#113 FAGGOTTER Rodney (AUS) HUSABERG FE450
#172 LUCCHESE MANUEL (ITA) HUSABERG FE 450 RALLY
