I concluded it was that same thing that took our Cody and ...who was that other French guy the next day, also on camera, straight over the bars on some level ground.

All three incidents worry me a lot: How did they happen? Surely the suspensions on all three bikes were setup perfectly?
I sometimes wondered if in some cases a set of mild bounces while standing up would inadvertently cause you to pull the front brake lever a little too hard, by accident, which with just the right rebounding could tuck the front and you go for an unscheduled flight.

Assuming that the footage was shot on a GoPro it may well be down to the extreme wide angle/fisheye lens. One of my other activities is windsurfing and I've used my GoPro while wavesailing in some decent sized surf (3/4 mast high, 4m mast) and the footage looks really tame. What in reality is a terrifying wall of white water coming towards me looks like a glorified ripple on the video. That wash he hit may have been a lot more significant than it appears on the footage.

Homage to Paco Martinez

Followed by tributes to dakariano and Paco Martinez Teruel ending first test motor sport hardest in the world, the Dakar 2012. After his successful and meritorious performance in their people, in City of Las Parras de Castellote, this weekend, he paid tribute to the presence of family, friends and neighbors, as well as the delivery of a plaque by DiputaciónProvincialde dela Teruel, delivered by the mayor and Second Deputy Castellote Ramon Millan, in the presence of the mayor of Las Parras Jose Bolivar. After delivering a Paco rested and recovered from the tremendous effort and he thanked the distinction starring his next challenge, do the Dakar with an electric motorcycle, an absolute novelty in the world of racing. This year a Polish team finished the test consumed with an electric car, something unthinkable a few years ago, and the challenge of electric bike can give a major breakthrough marketing this type of vehicle. As always the problem is in the financing, but the good result, good relations with the media that Paco has established and track your adventures in the network, it sure makes it easier to achieve the budget required to meet the test in optimum conditions.

A bit of a smack on the fingers for the location as well. It sounds as though he's not impressed with holding the event in South America (at least the way it's being run at present).
