Cabins in North Central Arkansas
A friend and I are planning a few days of street riding in Arkansas, mostly around the Ozark National Forest and Buffalo River National Park. It'll be the first time in the area for both of us. It'd be nice to find a cabin for use as a home base. Any suggestions?

Some of the state parks have cabins. I would suggest getting the Butler map of the ozarks. I've ridden that area dozens of times and the map showed me some that I missed.

Located in Ponca, AR at the headwaters of the buffalo river. I used to live near there, and spent many, many weekends in the area exploring, swimming, canoeing, caving, hiking, etc. I didn't ride back then, but the area is surrounded by forest service roads and great twisties too. Short, fun motorcycle ride from the cabins to Jasper, AR. For some good home cooking and deserts at the local cafe.
