Happy New Year, Gents.

Speaking of the Roaming Rally, time to get the DR inspected (finally). She's got a VT registration. Ronnie's looks like the closest spot to the Saratoga area for a VT inspection, eh? Anyone know any place closer?

just get a NY inspection. They only require a vin number not a plate

Called Joe's in Mechanicville to ask if I could do that; he said for a bike to have a NY inspection, it needs to be registered in NY. Maybe I'll call around...

Is that something they will check when crossing into Canada? I have never inspected my bikes .

Well, forget I asked. Just called Seymour's... who said "no problem."

It would seem you don't know my luck. I doubt they're checking at the border, no. But in-state, I've been nabbed. He let me go, though.

Local shop around here said no problem. They are not even required to put a plate number in the book they fill out. Not sure if I got lucky or if thats the way it is. I know back in the late 80's the shop I worked for would do out of state cars who had the sticker expire while they were in NY and it was ok. They called the dmv and checked

A Male Fairy Tale

Once upon a time, a Prince asked a beautiful Princess, "Will you marry me?"

The Princess said, "No!!!" And the Prince lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and dated skinny long-legged full-breasted women and hunted and fished and raced cars and went to naked bars and dated ladies half his age and drank whiskey, beer and Bundy Rum and never heard #####ing and never paid child support or alimony and banged cheerleaders and kept his house and guns and ate spam and potato chips and beans and blew enormous farts and never got cheated on while he was at work and all his friends and family thought he was cool as hell and he had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up.

The End
