Another day in paradise

Another installment of Ventura county riding and my last ride of the year

With temps in the 60's and spring like condition's in the mtn's... Getting out for a ride was a must
I got a late start... had to catch a few morning waves
I went out the 126 today headed for the mtn's behind lake castic

I know a nice little dirt road off the 126 that goes to lake hughs road


There was a nice fire break road that I had to check out

There are some great views along lake hughs rd


I headed to the Rockinn for lunch had a beer and burger it's a great biker spot with good food


The nov. snow was all but melted on the back side of the mtn's and the traction was great

This is one of my favorite single tracks


A few little snow bits along the trail


No rocks just smooth moist dirt

Than it runs in the trees.... Sweeeet




There's that badass bike again




Once it drops out of the tree's it gets a little tite

I gased up in Fazier Park and headed for Lockwood valley rd


The sand wash along Lockwood valley rd was calling


The last of the dirt... I mean sand for the day


The bike was ready for more and wanted to go right... But the day was getting short and I hit the 33 home


The 33 looking out to the ocean the view never gets old

some of it...BUT not the single track the 690 is a big bike on that...I have to be very carefull not to tear it up
