CPModem in need of Prayers & Well-Wishes!!!
This was posted on Christmas about our friend & supporter CPmodem (John Parker) who has been going through some health issues he's been dealing with:
----------------- This is Becci Parker, John's (Not Better, Just Other) Half. I have no clue how this FB works. I just posted a message about John on MY FB and thought it was on his for everyone to see but now it's not there. SO... I will repost here, as we need as many prayers as we can get, Thank you and may everyone have a Bright and Beautiful CHRISTmas Day. Merry Christmas One and All. I was hoping to bring Good News but I ask for your prayers for John. For the first time since I have known him, 50+ years, I have never had to see him in the hospital, over night. He was taken to ER yesterday with blood pressure 83/43, not good. He has an infected gallbladder with lots of stones blocking its function 100%, they did a Hydra-scan, with radioactive stuff, so they could follow it and it just STOPPED, in the gallbladder. The gallbladder will have to be removed but that's only part of it. Being diabetic his numbers are way too high. They are monitoring his blood glucose levels closely and they need to get those under control before any surgery can be done. Also while this was all going on over the past 5 days while at home (John refused to let me take him in) his kidneys started to shut down. The doctor and surgeon were both very concerned, which I know, when one thing goes bad with a diabetic patient, others follow RAPIDLY. Please find a few minutes on this very busy day to say a pray for John and his doctors.. Have a wonderful Christmas Day with your families and remember without Christ, there would be no Christmas. Thank you and God Bless you all! ---------------- This by his son the next day: This is Rick, John's son posting for my dad. He is going into surgery in about an hour to have his gall bladder removed. Please pray for him that he has a successful surgery and a speedy recovery. Thank you! -------------- Then this, just a short while ago (03-jan-2012): This is another request for prayer from Becci, John’s wife. John has been through a lot over the past few weeks. Later today John will be having heart procedures as his heart was in atrial-flutter for several hours and this will keep it from going into atrialfibrilation. Meaning he won’t have to be on blood thinners the rest of his life keeping him from his favorite activities, especially his motorcycle riding. I couldn’t imagine John not being able to ride….. The procedures are an EP Study that is a camera is inserted through his mouth and placed behind his heart, watching to see which node is mis-firing. That node will be eliminated in the next procedure, Ablation. All I know about that is they burn and destroy that particular node to keep his heart from beating out of sync or too rapidly for no reason. We have complete confidence in the cardiologist but prayers for John and the medical team would be greatly appreciated. His procedures begin at 2pm but we have to deliver him by noon so he can be prepared. Thank you for all your prayers they have helped tremendously. --------------------- Here are his contact data: John Parker STOC 124 IBA 10537 1994 Honda ST1100 "Blue Thunder" 2002 Honda CBR1100XX "Silver Bullet" 2004 KTM 950 Adventure "Lipizzaner ST" SoCal & SoOregon Webmaster: http://ktm950.info http://johnandbecci.info http://fs80.org Social Networking: http://twitter.com/cpmodem http://www.facebook.com/cpmodem Cheers to All & Best Wishes for the Most Speedy Recovery!!!

We're behind ya CP! You've helped all our bikes run a little smoother, we're happy to send positive energy your way to help you mind and body run smoother through this rough section.
I trust someone will be passing along this thread to his family?
