I was away from this forum for a couple of weeks and just came across this thread. I don't know what this forum would have done without your knowledge, your insight and your advice and help. I have been reading and benefitting from your posts and the HOW ever since I acquired my 2004 Adventure S (GO!!!!). I was armed with inside knowledge about the bike even beofre I did get to ride it back from Ontario to Saskatchewan on its maiden voyage in August 05. You even provided the links to the shop manual before KTM Corporate shut you down as far as I remember. The HOW has been the source for everything to do and know about these wonderful bikes.

Great to hear that everything went okay and as planned and that you are on the recovering side of things. Have a speedy recovery, take it easy, do as the doctors tell you and have a good 2012. Looking forward to more of your advice, tips, help and insight soon!

John

I dont check in for a few days and come back to this.

I certainly hope the surgeons refrenced the H.O.W. !

Seriously take care, turn the stuborn down for a bit and get better than you can crank it back up later.

If they did, I am sure that they upgraded his ticker with a Facet 40171 for future reliability!!

Just seen this, you sir are an institution, and I am so very glad that your repair was carried out succesfully even if your body was all out of warranty and had been used outside of the original design brief, if anybody deserved a good will claim honoured by the Big Man it would be you, your contributions and posts have both benefitted myself and countless others here.

heal well
