On ya Nazza.

Of course there's a bed and a feed at our place in Central Vic for you.

I'm thinking we'll be needing a gathering of the Chix while you are in Vic . When you're a bit more sure of your dates let me know, would be great to have a few beers together with the girls.

Wooo!! Thanks guys So many comments I don't know if I will be able to respond to each. Thanks for putting the pic up Dave. Now that box at the back has a double 12 volt socket for my laptop, and other chargers. Theres 12 volt at the front for my phone / music. Tools in the front, kitchen in one pannier, misc and tools in the other, clothes, tent etc in the blue bag. The tank bag has become like a massive handbag.. can never find anything. BUT it does expand to fit a 6 packs at the end of the day (Yes Mum they're cans).
I am at West Wyalong and have had a couple of beers and a swim. Life is damn amazing! Had so many long chats to people today as I went. I love how Charlie brings a smile to everyones face!
Post some more later and answer some posts.

Yep! Met a guy in toowoomba the first day who had a vstrom he is working on, think I may have motivated him to pull his finger out. Today I met a young guy who was on his L's still (6 weeks) and was doing the opposite to me (Melb to Sunnny Coast) but on a road bike. He had a jerry can strapped on the back and was likely very jealous of my super tanker. Another guy travels around with his dog in a panel van and had come to Dubbo as Bourke was too hot right now. he catches fish in the river and cooks em on the bbq. I wanted to stay and go fishing! Will be coming back up here for sure.

Thanks for the books. Sandy has already started in on them.

We miss ya already.
You GO GIRL. What a fkn legend you are. An inspiration. Lois...er...Naz on the Loose
Haha Strummer my reputation was shot a long time ago, lucky I don't miss it No worries with the books. As you're done with them put up a thread called Naz's library and share em around Tina has Steve's book but she may take a while.. not so keen on reading after all that uni crap.
It's you guys that have inspired me to do this so you are legends too! I wear my snail trail singlets with pride and when they wear out you better have some new ones for me! You would be proud of the way I have been riding these last two days.. it's all coming together. And the other weekend with Tina I hit a patch of sand at 60km's and didn't even notice it There's hope yet lol

Chix in stix sounds the go! Not sure when I am going to Tassie or anything else but if its late jan / feb / early march and planned ahead I can probably work around it.

And I will be in central Vic quite a bit I assume. Thanks Jane

Not wanting to pollute this thread with non-motorbike stuff but there'll be a bit of bushwalking in the Grampians on offer too Nazza. Jane & Mtrain, Huskygirl & me have a bit of experience in that area so keep in touch . Plenty of spare gear so don't worry about not bringing it with you. Another couch and fridge full of beer on offer at the start of the Great Ocean Road also.

AND - the Cancer Ride is going to be in Tassie for the 3rd week of March so if that coincides with your plans then all the better - we've got a great dirt/tar Tassie circumnavigation lined up and we can point you at all the right mountains. Best time of the year to be down there too.

Cheers,

ADV UNCuT (& the former Huskygirl)

Wow Nazza,
You certainly have guts tackling such an adventure on your own. I wish you all the best for your trip and stay safe.

Glad to hear somebody else names their bikes. My hubby's new DR650 is called DivoRce after I traded my beautiful SV Nelson in so that he could buy it.

Cheers
