Hello Melbourne

Had a small incident yesterday (near Seymour) where I binned it in a rest stop, got my foot stuck under the bike and bent the gear lever in. It was a tired mistake and a couple of guys lifted the bike up for me. Then I spent a while working out how to straighten the lever. I thought it was done and had a big rest but 50m down the road I found I couldn't get past 2nd gear so I had to do it again, this time in the sun. Made me glad I carry a good selection of tools. Anyway its all good, sore ankle and hand but nothing broken.

Nothings broken but I have some nice bruising on my hip, swollen ankle and sore hand. All part of the adventure

Would like to say I have been relaxing but since I got here we have been shopping and going out almost continuously lol. That's probably why the ankle is swollen.
The rest stops here are great! Nothing like back home.
