Just to be clear - the campsite is where the Shell station is just past the dry lakebed in Panamint before it winds up the mountain pass over to 395, right? About 30 miles away from Stovepipe Wells?

If so - I'll probably be OK with a solar shower, but if Drea goes she might want to use a shower in the motel. I'll throw a $20 to anyone using the motel if she can use the shower at night.

I found it last April - I'm pretty sure I'll find it again All I have to do is listen for the sound of FFs telling tall tales about their riding exploits

I never even knew there was a camp/RV area there. I've used the shell a couple of times if there was no fuel in furnace creek. I've only been there before dusk once so I thought that place was half-abandoned.

SPOTwalla

I set up a SPOTwalla for this trip...

I think you'll need to pm me your SPOT ESN # AND shared page url so I can update the map. The ESN# is found by taking off the battery cover, removing the batteries. It should start with "0-......."

Your data will display only from 3/30 to 4/1. If there's a zone you want to make private, such as your home, also pm me your lat/long in decimal format and the mile radius you want blocked.

Dunerat - confirmed
FYYFF, got all your info, just activate your SPOT so there's a live message on your shared page, then we're good.

Thx

there will be porta potties; the gas station across has clean bathrooms, the restaurant too. sito and nowwhat are offering their motel rooms for our convenience.

if we all have our own camping plates and bowls and cups, less waste

just a pile of beer cans

In!

Will be there Thursday thru Sunday. Staying in the motel, probably right next to those nice quiet boys Mike, Sito and Toast.

In for any and all dinners.

My wrr went bye bye, the only thing in my shop is a r1200r. So if I don't pick up another enduro, this will be a street ride for me. I know some people (Lost Rider comes to mind) could get a 1200r thru Titus. I'd be staying on the pavement.

Titus is the smoothest and best ride for a GS in DV IMHO. But last year it was barely opened on Saturday. So it may be closed again.

This winter has been much dryer than last year, so snow should not be as much of an issue.
