Sounds great man! Not many guys can say their wife talked them into getting a 650 XChallenge :). Tons of great forest roads around that are perfect for that bike. Some good ones out east but much more fun once the snow starts to melt again. You may find that you really like it... I love to mountain bike and hike around, but a dual sport really opens up the doors as far as the shear amount of country you can see.

I usually try to hit the Local's nights earlier rather than later. If it's not snowing you'll see my 450 EXC parked close by. Other than a few hard core types most of the group is focused on skiing right now but that will start to change :)

Hello all! My name is Brad and if it's ok, it would be great to meet some of folks as I'm new to this sport and would like to meet some folks in Bend. Is it cool if I show up at Summit about 6 on Thursday? If it is, for whom would I look? Or should I say for what should I look?

It's totally cool if you come to the meet up! We look forward to meeting you!

We are usually at the front tables near the window. Just make an immediate right, when you walk in the door. We're a little harder to recognize in the winter, without all our gear on. Maybe I'll bring a helmet, and set it on the table.
