I do it when I check valves, which is every three or 4 oil changes (it ends up being every winter, at 12-15k intervals, which seems to work).

I check this every Valve check. (when the tanks are off) About every 10,000 miles. It's a very tall screen, and would take a lot stuff to cover it completely and cause an issue imo.

does anybody ever find these screens at least partially plugged after initial break in period is over? Mine is always clean, all of them
