Wicked Update

I went up there yesterday and reserved the site. I also ran some of the trails we did last year with my truck. All were passable but one, (I think the spot were I went under) is still pretty bad. It seemed the closer I got to the Battlefield the more water was on the trails. The first couple I ran were all dry.

Last years spot has been reserved... As of 1/18 the trails are not as wet than last year.

Now that the site is set and reserved on to the specifics.

1. I will bring what wood I have but it's not much, I also plan to bring a saw this year.
Can anyone else bring any in case we need it?

2. Haven't heard anything about food. Everyone bring their own? Maybe talk to the BBQ if enough show?

3. I have paid for the site and will not demand payment from anyone. That said those that pay their way get the spots with electric, and any donations towards the site are greatly appreciated (being unemployed and all ).

If anyone planning on going could pm me with the dates they plan to be there would be great. That way the gate is not locked when you get there. Anyone that pm's me I will give my phone # for contact.

If no one else is there the gate will be locked while we are gone...

I understand. The line up just looks a "little thin in the skin."

Anyone that shows is welcome...

No F'in F will be turned down. Nor any locals that show.

If your bikes not plated you may be screwed. All rides I've thought of include Public Roads "just saying".

Site was $50 a night. I checked ocean pond wanted $18 per site with power, and you still had to deal with anybody around you.

With this site we don't have to worry about anyone else and have our own facilities. I also talked to the guy taking care of the site this summer. He said the power is now fixed in the pavilion and that they cleaned up the brush around the boat ramp.

The tire tracks there probably made them realize somebody may use it...

How would it work for me? I live a few miles from OP so I would be staying at my house overnight and coming to hang out and ride.

My dad just had his cancer surgery last night and he will be staying with us for a bit so we can care for him, I should still be able to join you guys though.
