Come on out to the desert for four fabulous days (and nights) of dualsport riding.

March 8 - 11, 2012

Triangle T Guest Ranch, Dragoon Mountains, Southern Arizona

We've held this event the last weekend in February in the past but have bumped it into March this year to take advantage of the FULL MOON for some added night rides. You asked for it, we listened!

This is a great opportunity to meet some of the various dual sport riders in person who hang out on the online forums.

Let's spend four days in Southern Arizona exploring the great trails, forest roads, food and fun.

Enjoy the chance to ride with other folks or ride by yourself. Maybe you'll learn a few tricks or discover a new road.

You'll definitely meet interesting folks, BS about bikes, eat some good food and do some great riding!

Camping at the Triangle T includes HOT BREAKFAST and HOT SHOWERS!

Check out the website (www.dualsportdesertdaze.com) for more info!

I can't make it this year, I'll be in Indiana, but forwarded to some other dirty riders.

Thanks for update, Dace.

Couple of questions - is there good riding for exploring backroads, jeep roads, etc, not hardcore stuff, might have a fairly new rider along? And, I noticed the guest ranch seems close to I-10. Is there noise from the I-10 when you stay there? Thanks!

In. I'll be bringing the cracker box and will need a site with full hookups. Do you arrange that or should I call the Triangle T?

There are lots of easy trails out there, I'm sure somebody can point you in the right direction or go with you. Also, in my experience there wasn't any noise from i10, I think the rocks cancel it out.

Thanks Drizzt for the quick replies!

Correct on plenty of easy stuff (check out the RIDES link at www.dualsportdesertdaze.com).

Correct that I-10 is not at all noticeable. I don't recall hearing the highway, ever.

Yes, there are definitely RV hook-ups available. Give the TriangleT a call to reserve a site.

Can't wait to join you guys an meet some people. I don't live too far off in Benson so I may only stay over one night but I'll definitely be up for some riding. Any suggestions as to which night would be the best to stay?

Some of the maps look like the rides are almost as far away as where I'm coming from in the East Valley (Coke Ovens). With a 2.5 gallon tank on my 450, I think that kind of mileage/distance is out of the question.
Are there any trails close to the camp that would be do-able with under 100 mile range that aren't level 6 "hero" rides, or do I bring the GSA and forget the 450? I'm not riding the little bike for 2 hours on the slab.

There are PLENTY of do-able, non-hero rides in the immediate vicinity of the Triangle T. One's that are longer than 100 miles total also come within range of gas stations so range shouldn't be an issue. The 450 will be tons of fun, whether heading through the ranches north of the Triangle T or heading south down to the border road.

I'll probably be there Friday evening and all day Sat/Sun. Looking at the suggested rides on their site...I've done most of the local stuff and have some other cool places to check out if anyone is interested. I'm limited to rides less than 110 miles as I'm running the stock tank of my XRL. Maybe by then I'll have a bigger one though.

I'm in, with RV spot reservation, unless I get sent to Europe on a business trip that week. Will trailer the 1200 and the TE449 for a little of both worlds!

Raven, the ranch lady doesn't seem to know where you got the camping (tent) and food info, she is looking for you. Seems to be a disconnect somewhere.
