Thinking of coming down from Northern Colorado, that is if I'm still unemployed at the time.

I'd probably bring both bikes, CRF450X (120 Miles), and DR650SE (250 miles). Would I be able to hook up with some group/s that would keep me out of trouble?

Be glad to return the favor this summer if anyone wants to come up here for some high country riding.

You'll absolutely find groups to ride with, whichever bike you're riding and whatever skill level you're at.

Looking forward to seeing you!

Hope folks are getting excited! The weather has been gorgeous the past week.

Meanwhile, just a reminder that the deadline for t-shirts is fast approaching. If you want an event t-shirt, check out the STUFF page at www.dualsportdesertdaze.com.

Ravenranger,

I printed out two of your posters, one is on the bulletin board in the customer lounge at Cochise Motorsports, and the other is prominently displayed in the front window of Sierra Cycles, both here in Sierra Vista.

Wow....I would really like to do this ride. Sorry, but already have Moab and the Kokopellis Trail planned for March.

Hopefully it will happen in 2013.....

ACD,

Yeah, I'm trying to decide if I should ride up Friday after work, and camp, or just head up early Saturday morning and only camp one night and head home Sunday afternoon.

I,ve got a couple of noob questions, never been to southern Arizona. How cold does it get overnight ? Do I need to bring a rainsuit ? I,ve got trials tires on my Husky , should I switch back to MX tires ?

Some of the guys use trials tires and really like them for our terrain but it's up to you regarding your comfort level.

Typically for March, highs are in the mid-60's whilst lows are in the mid-40's (about 10 degrees warmer than February).

It's a good idea to have a rain suit just in case, though it typically doesn't rain (although it could snow.....which is why we moved it to March this time around).

Desert Daze rides..........

Here is a link to a bunch of rides I did last season in Cochise county. All of these rides are within reach of the ranch.

I've been working on some new stuff this year, so I am still juggling an itinerary for this years event.

No, I do not have tracks for any of them.
