Oh, right, that guy. Yes, it would be great to see him again. Also, he still has a video of Ben going up the Highdive obstacle on Behind the Rocks that I would like to see posted.

I can't do the whole ride with you guys. Good chance I'll be there for Saturday's leg. I'll be fresh as a daisy after that 200 mile sufferfest ya'll have done at that point. Timberline at night? Love it but can't get off work.

I’ve never ridden this trail. I found the trailhead (pictured below). Ryan and I are pretty sure we know where it comes out, but we're not completely positive. I don’t plan on pre-running this trail before the MB. It’s going to be the big day-three surprise, like Timberline was the first year.

I'm not pointing the camera at the ground in that picture, I was standing up with the camera level, looking at the hillside in front of me. My bike is on it's side because kickstands don't work in this type of environment. This section is real muddy and pretty much straight up. I was solo on that ride, so I turned around here. This trail may require helping other people get their bikes up various obstacles. Colin, you may want to get a little extra endurance training in this year so you can ride Tom’s bike up this trail for him .

Watch out for elk. I almost got ran over by the herd.

Wish I could go. It sounds like soooo much fun. Maybe next year.

Day three - 172 miles, lots of unscouted sections so it will be a real adventure.

Route looks great. Can we get the GPX file or files...

Sure, do you want them on floppy of CF card?

Before we get into that, I'm going out scouting again on Sunday to try and find a little more singletrack to add to the ride. Let me finish that run before I post these tracks. Also, Ryan might want to add more accurate campsites as well.

So I take it that this is an english type ride with morning and afternoon smokos? Scones and tea at 9 and 3 and of course crumpets for breakie?

I am assuming that these breaks will be taken in shady cool spots along the meandering trail near streams so feet maybe soaked and tea served ?

Absofuckinglutely!

That is exactly how we roll on this ride. You definitely need to come along just to see it for yourself!

You wouldn't believe it, but Raul has the cutest little tea party set-up that he carries along with him! Hardly anyone notices but it also matches his eyes, you should keep a look-out for this type of thing, from what I know of these guys, talking about tea parties and such are at the top of the list!
