Anyone down for a ride to the coast this weekend? I was thinking hit the coast south and ride kings ridge to Tim barn. Maybe some bones roadside for lunch and Fish rock 128 back. It would be an all day ride but should be fun.

Sunday ride

More Bones you say? Well alright.
4/22/12
West Sac Chevron
7:00am, KSU 7:30. Sorry for the early start but this is a long ride and I don’t want to be home at 8. pm

To the coast: 128-some back roads in Napa (redwood road, dry creek, trinity), to 116, kings ridge north to tin barn, then the coast.

Bones roadhouse for lunch.

Back home: Tin barn south to 116, some boring roads to spring mountain road. That will dump us into St. Helena. From there the normal 128 back to Sac.

No dirt roads on this ride, I promise. Most of these roads are Very Goaty but everything is paved. If we keep good time we should be there by noon and home by 6. I want to limit the stops so we don’t waste time. I will make sure there are fuel stops for everyone.

Pace will be brisk but not crazy fast. Expect some long seat time. These roads will be tight and challenging for some people. I would not recommend this ride for new riders or riders that are unconformable with long distances. As always I will not leave anyone behind.

Its the Chevron on enterprise, last exit before the cos-way.

I like those roads and if we are late on time we can take scaggs back home. MV is too far north if we are coming up kings ridge. I'm game to plan another ride with you up there though. I love that road.

What kinda bike are you going to bring?
