I am going to be able to go to paco's tacos in G/V...work is done for the day.
I'm over by A+S, so I'll cruise the BSA through the A+S lot and see if anybody is waving me down that had wanted to ride up there too.
(I doubt there'll be anyone)
Or you can chime in here...I'll check beforehand
Going to cruise through A+S @ 4:15-4:30.
Then ride to G/V from there.

flashback fridays

So...
I headed out friday from A+S in the heat of the day 'bout 4:15.
I-80 to 49-N It's about a block from the highway 20 interchange.
Had a great time. A decent turnout of about 40 bikes of all kinds.
It was dark and cool on the ride home.

Here's some shots of the happening...

That was a fine looking paint scheme on your BSA's tank, BTW. It should have been parked over by the restaurant rather than near those damn adventure bikes.

Thanks Tod,

I was impressed by your 5 flat canadian adventure! You lived my dream to ride free and choose this or that road.
And yes I was well hidden from view at FBF's. Looking forward to sept if I can make it...I had fun up there.
Visited with friends around the block from there until way after dark.

Post up when your next run is.
I'd see whether I can swing it.

What kind of engineer are you looking for? I'm a computer engineer...

New rider here.

Hey there-

I live in Grass Valley and am new to riding. I took a few hours to explore McCourtney, Perimeter, and South Ponderosa Roads yesterday. I was trying to make my way to Camp Far West lake using mostly dirt. I ran into a few locked gates but other than that I had a great ride.

You ever go the other direction? There's a bunch of great riding just outside Nevada City, shade and much cooler up that direction this time of year.
