I ride solo 20 or so times for every time I ride with someone else. My riding buddy is made of sugar so nothing there until it's 60° or so and dry.

I like the wet roads, paved or not. Just not in heavy rain as my pants leak like a sieve.

It's kinda dodgy in the winter riding alone with the cold and dark coming so early in the day. A breakdown or a getoff could get interesting.

Problem is my schedule doesent allow any ride planning. It's short notice and I go for a ride the next day. I'll try to get a ride in soon as it's been a cople weeks. I'll post it up, and if there's any takers great. If not, oh well.

I usually just figure everyone needs a day or two notice, so I don't even bother posting anything. I'm sure that might be the deal here with others. I'm game for a ride if I'm not working, so post up if you want company. I only need a couple hours notice at times, so if you wake up and want to ride, throw it up here and see if you get any bites!
Obviously the night before would be best as far as getting any takers.

I farmed my son out, he's spending the night at a friends house. So....I'm going for a short-ish ride in the morning but not sure where, maybe Georgetown, or also thinking about Yankee Jim's and Shirtail Canyon.

Let me know if you want to ride with. Prolly going to layer up and leave fair oaks around 8-9 as I need to be back before 2pm.

Same post on MLDS and thankfully Eldo graciously drove all the way from Mt Aukum to join me. We didn't see anyone until late in afternoon.

Remember when you would rush through your chores to ride a Briggs & Stratt powered mini-bike in the vacant lot? Not every ride has to be epic. I'm thinking this site has raised the bar so high many sit home unless we're going someplace post-worthy.

Like Stallone (almost) said in F.I.S.T.; Get out and ride!

p.s., Eldo is being his usual modest self; if you can out climb that guy on his Ladies Bike I don't want to ride with you either. ;-)

I saw the post on GCDSR and I would have came along but I'm in the middle of my annual winter tear down. Sorry dude..

We did, thanks. The four of us waited a bit until it warmed up to freezing and took off for parts known and some unknown. The hoar frost was near knee-high in places and there were some puddles, so conditions were better (perfect) last week, but the company was great and we had a good time.

The Dead Fly - good food - long waits at times.

You live near Plymouth?
I am in Mt. Aukum, but in Plymouth a lot as my Jeep rebuild project is there at a friends house.

I could meet you Saturday if you would like.

I ride a beater XR650L, but it can go almost anywhere.

Riding out our way is not the best right now - but there is enough to stay entertained.

I live in Auburn and Hawaii.. Currently in Cali for a bit and just getting back into riding after a while... Founding member of motherlodedualsport.com (is this ok???lol) That's where I post when I ride for the most part... Riding this saturday now that the Hoar-Frost has subsided...lol...
