We were planning on staying at Virgin Valley on the way in from Gerlach.

Did Denio have gas yet or is it still just available in Fields?

Did not see any gas in Denio, not sure about Fields, and there is gas in Frenchglen.

No gas in Denio when I was there 2 weeks ago. There is gas and a nice little restaurant in Fields. And a nice grassy area for camping.

I was thinking of riding in the Foresthill area on Saturday morning. Either the dirt roads like Ponderosa and Yankee Jims, or maybe the trails at Foresthill - or both. I expect to be headed back to Folsom by noon.

need advice --

Hey all, need some advice... I'm a full time RV'er as a last month, spend most of my time near Bend, OR to be close to my 2 young daughters (and ex-wife ), and I'm thinking the Sacramento area might be a good place to spend the winter... I haven't spent much time in your area, but have heard good things about the Red Bluff, Oroville areas. So, the question, do you guys have any solid recommendations for a nice clean RV campground in a small quiet town close to good winter riding?

Also, what do I need to know about riding my plated/ street legal in Oregon, Husaberg FE570 both on road and off road?

Thanks in advance for any insight you can help me with --

You've heard good things about Red Bluff and Oroville. Really?

well, just referring to the weather... but nothing about the towns' themselves. Hey, I'm totally open and just looking for some local's help on where to spend the winter (within a day's drive from my 2 little girls in Bend) -- Where would you go to get away from the snow in Jan - Feb with your camper??

Within two hours of Bend and no snow?

Really only one option: Oregon or Humboldt County coast.
