How about Saturday? My XR needs a fork seal and rear tire, the 950 needs a crash guard straightened, and the BMW needs a valve adjustment...

I'll open this up to any other locals that need shop space/time or just want to hang out and watch us get our hands dirty.

Not before 11:00. PM me for my address.

Now I'm bummed that I'll be doing something else on Saturday. Sounds like a good little get-together. I would be glad to work the big hammer on the crash guard for you.

Riding Sheetiron route Stonyford to Fort Bragg

Hi - I haven't been on here in years - cool to see all the Sac area riders posting up.

I'm Taking the family to Fort Bragg for a little vacation in May. A perfect chance to get away for a day and ride some dirt roads, then meet up with them in Ft Bragg.

Has anybody ridden those Sheetiron roads lately, but not during the Sheetiron event? I have seen some mention around of gates maybe being closed etc, just wondering if anyone has any first hand experience of getting through there.

BTW if anybody wants to join, I will do the ride Friday May 7th.

I got a surprise day off today so I'm going for a ride. Does anyone want to join me?

Leaving Fair Oaks at some time around 10:00 and heading to Georgetown for some dirt. I might go to the hotel ruins, Taking the scenic route and can meet up anywhere. (purple place, Coloma, or Georgetown)

Sorry about the short notice..

Saturday Tech Day...

Just confirmed, markmark is coming over to mi casa to learn how to change tires and oil on his bike. Bike Guy says he's coming over, too. Two dealers and Cycle Gear within a couple of miles, as well as a plethora of auto parts stores and even a Harbor Fright. To quasi-quote Jeff Spicoli, "We can fix it!"

Starts at 11. Come to help, come to watch, or just come over.

PM for location.

Well, you missed a prime opportunity....

We edgumecated markrmark about changing his tire air twice seasonally, that the muffler bearings need lubrication, and the blinker fluid needs topping off....

THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THE HIGHER EDUMACATION. I will ALWAYS top off my blinkery fluids and lube up those muffy bearings and put FRESH tire air in there.. OH YEAH. I'm an expert now. ;-)

But seriously, thanks very much Ron & Daryl for your patience and help teaching me tire and oil changing! I'll buy ya lunch sometime!

:)
