Rocky, sandy washes lined with hardwoods, it was surreal.

We stopped for a quick break. The earth started to ingest HTM in a slurry of sandy brine.

We could see the imposing white bluff in the distance. Made from the hardest rock, we would commit to crest this palisade to reach our goal.

Once atop, the prize revealed itself.

HTM ran out of gas on the way back to the trucks. But, there's no need to fear, braided rope is here!!

The footpeg to footpeg method was employed as I had witnessed at the Coke Ovens ride when yzfcathy gave rpage1 a little pull.
