I try to steer riders toward stuff that isn't plentiful in your own country.
I was just checking your route. Here is an option to see the Big Empty. (The Great Basin) I have grown to love this high altitude sagebrush ranch land.
From Loa head due west to hwy 21, Minerville to Baker NV. I discovered this road a few yrs ago, very relaxing and good scenery. Visit Great Basin Nat Park. West to Ely.
You can now head north to Wendover and Bonneville Salt Flats. OR head west to Eureka then north to the Interstate. 93 is mind numbing in places. Eureka to I-80 is more ranchlands with some altitude and valleys. Still quite straight. but scenic.
Heading east to Bonneville you will get a big surprise beginning to the salt flats.
From SLC head south east to Moab and you are back on track.
Looks like an extra day and only one night in SLC
I have done the north south route a number of times. It usually takes 5-6 days for me to reach the southern border. I try to change up the route each time and the mileage has only varied a little. I ride an average of 300 per day and figure a full day, sometimes two, for each Nat Park.
Is there time for the mighty forest of the Northwest? Mountains carpeted in dense evergreens two days north of Bonneville.
The gate guard glares at me. "It's after curfew." He looks me up and down, "What do you think you are, some kind of ****** tourist?" ..Phu Loi 1969

You're covering a lot of interesting places and during the time when the mad summer crowd is gone. You'll have a good time.
