European Grand Ride 2011 Videos - 7000 km solo across Europe on a 1968 Honda CB450
My name is Ronny and I'm a 49 year old vintage bike nut from Sweden. I love to work on my old bikes during the winter and use them for long rides in the summer. I found your site a couple of days ago and reading through your travel stories I felt at home right away.
I'm not restoring a bike this winter so instead I'm making a video series from my journey last summer. I went on an epic 7000 km solo ride across Europe on my vintage Honda CB450 1968 that I had restored during the winter. 5 weeks, 15 countries, 1 accident, memories and impressions to last a life time. I think I will end up with about 6 to 8 episodes to cover the whole ride. Feel free to ask questions and come with suggestions. Episode 1 Episode 1 in HD: http://youtu.be/6ewRU3qoI94?hd=1 Episode 2 Episode 2 in HD: http://youtu.be/y4ZjmuCYMU4?hd=1 Episode 3 Episode 3 in HD: http://youtu.be/Ft3s0iS0-t4?hd=1 Episode 4 Episode 4 in HD: http://youtu.be/mLjVMsm9FPU?hd=1 Episode 5 Episode 5 in HD: http://youtu.be/w4ON6KjdEqI?hd=1 Episode 6 Episode 6 in HD: http://youtu.be/cTLq0e30akg?hd=1 Znabb screwed with this post 10-16-2012 at 04:46 AM |

Nice videos! Your links aren't working.. I had a look into your post and saw no reason why the embed failed.
What a gorgeous bike and an awesome Euro grand tour... I'd love to do that!

I'm working on episode 3 at the moment. This is a totally non commercial hobby project and I'm writing and producing all music for the series so each episode takes a couple of weeks to complete. I'm also not in a hurry to complete the series as editing the videos almost makes me feel like I'm back on the road again. Pure joy!

Looking fantastic. Saw just a smidgeon of video one before my connection crashed. In a few days I'll be able to watch them proper-like. LOVE the video (saw about a minute). What are you editing with?

The sequences where I'm riding along the road are slightly longer in episode 3. Do you feel these sequenses get boring or does it feel ok? The roads on Balkan are so beautiful I want to include as much as I can of them.

Ride.
The footage of road riding is fine. The music gets a little repetitive, but I just turn it down and enjoy your film skills.
Great job narrating! I like it.
