Back rim and the spokes were not quite right either but I made them work,
![]() ![]() ![]() Had to cut the long ones, ![]() Fresh set of Dunlops, ![]() ![]() Had to use the Stubby's so i don't scratch the rims, They are much more difficult to use than regular tire irons because they are so thick but really don't scratch them at all. ![]() Sprocket is in good shape just needed the shine put to em ![]()

Great work bringing back a great old bike.
Love what your doing with the CR. Your doing a great job, and it makes me want to get to work on my 89 YZ250. Just have to get another project out of the way and then I can get started on mine.

89 yz250
I bought the 89 YZ for sentimental reasons. I rode an 89 YZ250 from the age of 15-19 and loved that bike. Its funny that this bike that is over 20 years old now is actually in better shape than the YZ I had when I was in high school and it was only a couple of years old then, but had been abused and was about worn out when I got it.. I have also always been a fan of the YZ and would like to have a new YZ250 to play with. You have some good looking YZ's there. Your son's looks great for a 99.
