Nowadays it's a 950 Adventure Still have the Honda but it's resting. Still haven't decided if I sell it or not... I should but...

Either way I don't have the time and tim€ to go so far. Not having the wife's permission is also fairly good reason for not going with you guys. She thinks that eastern girls and wine might do me some wrong Dunno why!

Have fun. See 'ya

Allright... First question I am not able to answer..

My insurance automatically covers Croatia, but apparantly not all (UK)insurances do, so check your greencard!!

We've had the same with Loz crossing to Bosnia, he was escorted back into Croatia immediately....
Does anyone know if insurance for Croatia can be baught at the border crossing?
Or better to just get it sorted with your local ensurer, or even switch to another insurer?

Rose,

I'm sure Loz being kicked-out of Croatia was nothing to do with his insurance, he has that effect on most people.....

Give the embassy a call (or it may be online) I've found that the cost can vary considerably in a very short time. How many countries are you planning to visit? Not all crossings have insurance available, I've seen booths with "Green Card" on them at some borders. Best idea is to sort it before you go.

Hope that helps, Rob

You just can't imagine what I had to do to keep Loz from being kicked out of Portugal...

EU plated bikes don't need extra insurance for CRO.
(is it better now?)

I'm not sure I can follow that...

If someones insurance does not cover Croatia and he/she causes an accident in Croatia, who is going to pay the counterparty's (personal/material) damages?

CN Europe will do (new version 2012.40).
You can use Adria rute or topo (a bit better but not much).
