I can appreciate Ray’s frustration as I’ve been in his shoes. However, we don’t want to throw out the baby… All the group emails today have said keep the meeting as it is so I plan on being at the GC on Feb 16th and I’ll confirm that the room is still ours.

I enjoy the diverse personalities on forums (all time fav was “pink fluffy bunny” on the Goldwing forum…until he was banned) and thick skin is always an asset when participating. I trust this minor bump in the road doesn’t scare or turn off people who are thinking about joining our group. Hopefully no one leaves and hopefully this thread doesn’t become a five person clique. (Now I return to my efforts at world peace)

I’m a picture guy… Would love to see what others are riding.

Oh yeah, and I vote we shorten our group name to Cincinnati Area Dual Sport or CADS .

I know, I know, Ray says we're not a club, but we sure are bickering like one.

Could be worse guys, we could meet at Bike night at Quaker Steak and lube.

I am flexible on days and location, my schedule changes so much that I just have to play it by ear. Anyone have any thoughts? Golden Corral is still OK for me too, I've just been busy the last couple of times.

Glad you checked in Dave. Enjoyed your thread on the Gap. There was discussion at the last meeting of a trip to the Gap/Cherohala Skyway/Tellico area.

Thanks for taking over Bob.
Yesterday sucked.
My dream bike deal fell through, a guy accused me of selling a stolen bike then the crap over choosing the wrong meeting place. I had enough when I was called a short sighted pompous ass.

I'll try to get a picture of my latest "keeper" bike posted later.

I can't wait to ride it. I have Fugly's big brother with a tag on it as well. I plan to get them both out back-to-back and see which one I should keep. I suspect the XR will kick butt. Wish we had some warm dry weather in the forecast.

heidenau's

Yep,
Heindl has the 150's in stock and their customers like the tires !!
The tires are balanced and on the bike--now please stop the rain.
When you can get 10k, the cost is minimal. This tire is probably not real good
on the Enduro/Cross country type trails, but should be good for most anything else.
For me and my 4000 mile trip this year out to the Dakota's on dirt/2 track/sandy trails
farm roads it will be perfect. The gravel out there is VERY SHARP and abrasive.
Thanks for the advise some of you all gave me. And thank Ray for our togetherness!!!
PS--Remember, I'm riding an "adventure bike"--500#'s. 10-4
