Yeah, but you can't say anything other than 8 of 10 is 'blowing it.' Unrealistic...

Oh and it was 7 out of 10 they won. They had that loss to Boston.

Sure, but baseball ain't football - the difference in wins between a bad team and a good team is only about 10%, and anything can happen in a game / short series.

Agree, but once again, it is fucking Toronto. I would feel the same way if it was the Astros.

The San Diego Padres and Trevor Hoffman gave Larry a surfboard for his retirement.

Playoffs

Lot's of Excellent Playoff baseball on the way with the wild card games beginning on Friday

Glad to see the Tigers win their division and Miquel Cabrera wins the Triple Crown in the process

Cabrera's Triple Crown is incredible. I'm just having a hard time being upbeat about baseball right now. I hope yesterday was a huge wake-up call for the Rangers.

And this is one of the reasons I have always enjoyed watching Chipper play, look at that smile. He enjoys the game, and plays his heart out. He truly is a kid getting paid to play a game. Thank you for all the years Chipper!

Oh, and growing up in east Texas I have pretty much always routed for the Rangers and Astros. Up until a couple of years ago baseball success has been fleeting. The Rangers are an enigma of a team sometimes, and the Astros... maybe they are rebuilding, or something for the last 8 years or so
